Karate gives boldness

Kakinada: Government General Hospital (Kakinada) Superintendent Dr M Raghavendra Rao has said by learning Karate, on can possess qualities of boldness and courage.
He presented at Boat Club Park here on Sunday, appreciation certificates and medallions to the winners of Karate Championship recently held at Anakapalle.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Raghavendra Rao said that learning Karate was not only used to protect one’s life but also it was good for health. Those who learn Karate would become strong physically and mentally, he added. 

Karate coach Surya, said that seven gold medal winners and three silver medal winners were trained at Boat Club Park, who won the medals in the Karate championships held at Anakapalle. Participants from Odisha, Telangana, Nepal and Bhutan took part in the Karate tournament, he informed. 

Walker’s Association president Adabala Ratna Prasad, Dasari Sridhar, PV Raghava and others participated in the event.
