IGP tells police officials to update records

Guntur: South Coastal Zone Guntur Range Inspector General of Police KVV Gopala Rao inspected Pattabhipuram Police Station here on Monday. 

He inspected the records and instructed the officials to update the records. He directed officials to step up vigilance on the criminals who recently released from the jail and keep an eye on the strangers moving in the city. He enquired about execution of the NBWs and speed up investigation of pending cases.

On Sunday, he visited Tadapalli police station and directed the officials to be cautious about law and order because the station falls under state capital region. He enquired about rowdy-sheetars and asked whether they were given counselling. He inspected police station records and surrounding areas in the police station. He asked them to be vigilant as VVIPs visit Tadepalli area. He stressed on the need to reduce crime rate and step up vigilance on the strangers. Guntur Urban police officials were present.
