National Voters Day celebrations held

Kakinada: District Vigilance and Monitoring Committee member and TDP leader Dhulipudi Venkata Ramana(bobby) on Thursday said that everyone should know the value and importance of the vote.

The leader participated as a chief guest in the National Voters Day celebrations at P Mallavaram village in Tallarevu mandal.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that right to vote was very important in a democratic society and choosing the right leaders can change the future of our country. He distributed prize to the winners in drawing competitions, which were held on the eve of the voters day celebrations.

Ramya Sri High School student of P Mallavaram village secured the first prize in drawing competition. Tehsildar Joseph, ZPTC Ramalakshmi, MPP Anantha Lakshmi, Sarpanch Srinivas, Mandala Ganga Suryanarayana and Lakshmana Rao took part in the event. Later, they felicitated the senior voter, Ramam.
