Sisodia reviews construction of classrooms at seven schools
New Delhi: Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia on Monday visited government schools to review the progress made in the construction of classrooms. The government has planned to build 13,003 new classrooms in government schools this year.
The minister visited seven schools located in Rohini to take stock of the construction. Out of these seven schools, the construction in one school has been completed. He had decided to visit more schools in the next 10 days.
"I'm confident that 13,003 new rooms in #DelhiGovtSchool announced by CM @ArvindKejriwal will be ready this year (sic)," tweeted Sisodia. He directed the officers to complete the construction work by year-end. He also asked the Deputy Director of Education to keep a visual record (photo/video) of the projects on a daily basis.
