India’S Longest Double-Decker Viaduct To Come Up In Chennai

Tamil Nadu Government has given in-principle approval to NHAI to build a 6-lane, 18.4-km elevated corridor from Kilambakkam Bus Terminus (KCBT) to Mahindra World City (Chettipunyam), with pillars designed for a future metro line.

After the proposed 15.46-km Airport–KCBT Metro, the next phase will extend from KCBT to Chengalpattu. The DPR will be revised before tenders are invited.
