New Delhi: The Congress has made a big claim during the ongoing seventh phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said that Home Minister Amit Shah is threatening officers.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh posted on the social media platform X and wrote, " The outgoing Home Minister has been speaking with the District Collector on the phone since early this morning. So far, 150 officers have been spoken with. The effort to publicly threaten officers is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Remember that democracy is based on mandates, not threats. According to the mandate, Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and the BJP will be out of office on June 4, and INDIA will win. Officers should not be pressured and must uphold the Constitution. They're under surveillance."
