Amulya Leona Narona's family in her hometown of Chikkamagaluru was given security and policemen deployed at the premises on Friday evening. Amulya has been sent to judicial custody for raising 'Pakistan zindabad' slogans at an anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) meeting in Bengaluru on Thursday.

Amulya shouted 'Pakistan Zindabad' and before she could say anything more, the mic was taken away from her. The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, was also present at the rally and intervened in a bid to stop her from raising pro-Pakistan slogans.

Amulya was subsequently arrested and booked for sedition. She was sent to judicial custody for 14 days.

Amulya Leona's house in Chikkamagaluru was attacked by unidentified miscreants on Thursday evening, according to the police. Some unidentified persons hurled stones at the house damaging windows. Police personnel were stationed at the house.

Amulya's father, Oswald Narona has condemned her action and said that what she did was wrong.
