One held for stalking, marrying minor

Hyderabad: The Trimulgherry police nabbed one for allegedly stalking and marrying a minor girl clandestinely, on Tuesday at Lal Bazar.According to the police, one Rajkumar (21, lorry driver) had allegedly stalked a minor girl (14) belonging to Lal Bazar of Trimulgherry police station limits.

The accused married the victim, who is just 14-year-old and convinced her that they are a couple and took her to Yellandu mandal. There they both lived in a rented house for two months, but one day the accused fled from there.

On Monday, Trimulgherry police identified Rajkumar roaming suspiciously in the Lal Bazar area, immediately they took him into their custody and during interrogation, the accused voluntarily confessed.Police registered a case against accused under relevant sections and was sent to Chanchalguda jail on remand.
