Massive blast while performing black magic, Swamiji burned alive in TN
Tiruvallur: A massive blast has taken place while performing black magic, where a Swamiji died on the spot with the burnt injuries. This incident happened at Erayamangalam in Tiruvallur district, TN on Wednesday night.
The deceased identified as Swamiji Govindaraj (49), a native of Nanganallur in Chennai. He built a house in Erayamangalam and residing there for the last 15 years by saying astrology and performing traditional rituals to the nearby villagers.
Govindaraj has gained a lot of popularity as Swamiji, many devotees from Chennai visit him and perform special puja's. In this context, an unmarried woman Lavanya has visited Swamiji 15 days ago and staying at his ashram.
As usually, Swamiji, who perform pujas every day, started it at 9 pm on Wednesday. At around 10 pm a huge sound of the explosion was heard. Lavanya, who was at the next door, came to the spot, where she found Swamiji surrounded with flames. Immediately, she informed the matter to the nearby locals. By the time they reached, Govindaraj Swamiji had died on the spot.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and shifted the body to Tiruvallur government hospital. The police team headed by DSP Nalini visited the spot and collected the evidence on Thursday. On the incident, the police have registered a case, and investigation further.
