1-yr jail to school teacher for claiming fake medical bills
Hyderabad: The XXVI Metropolitan Magistrate at Ibrahimpatnam convicted one accused to undergo one-year imprisonment and imposed Rs 1,000 fine. The accused school teacher was convicted in a cheating case for claiming false medical bills.
According to Maheshwaram police, in 2008, accused M David (52), who worked as School Assistant in K B Thanda Primary School in Maheshwaram Mandal claimed medical reimbursement of Rs 1.52 lakh through false medical bills.
Wherein, he got treatment to his wife at Hyderabad Kidney Centre in Nalgonda X road, but he created false medical bills of Care Hospital in Nampally and thereby committed breach of trust. The Maheshwaram police registered cases under sections 420, 409 IPC in 2013 and took up investigation and filed a charge sheet.
