Hanamkonda: 'Kaloji Kalakshetram will be ready in one year'

Hanamkonda: The work on Kaloji Kalakshetram, the state-of-the-art auditorium, coming up on Hayagrivachari Grounds in Hanamkonda, has been expedited, Government Chief Whip D Vinay Bhaskar said. The Chief Whip along with State Planning Commission vice-chairman Boinapalli Vinod Kumar and Telangana

State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) Managing Director B Manohar reviewed the progress of Kalakshetram work on Sunday.

Vinay said, "The Rs 50 crore Kalakshetram would be on par with the best with all modern facilities. The sophisticated auditorium is going to be better than the Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad." Terming Warangal as the destination next after Hyderabad in the State, he said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was committed for the all-round development of the city.

Speaking on the occasion, Vinod Kumar assured that there won't be any fund crunch for the construction of auditorium. He said that the contractors were instructed to complete

the Kalakshetram as early as possible. "The auditorium will be ready within a year. From here and onwards, I will be keeping an eye on the progress of the Kalakshetram," Vindo

Kumar said.

Warangal District Tourism Officer M Shivaji, Corporator Madhavi Reddy and senior TRS leader Jannu Zakaria were among others present.
