Visakhapatnam: Motivational speaker tells youth to be grateful for life
Visakhapatnam: There is a need to dream big and strive hard to realise it, stated motivational speaker Nick Vujicic.
At Andhra University Engineering Grounds, he recalled how his struggle for finances began at an early age. Having lost his arms and limbs due to a rare disorder tetra-amelia syndrome, Nick Vujicic said, it did not stop him from dreaming big and scaling heights in life.
Despite challenges that life throws, Nick Vujicic urged people to be grateful to things that they were endowed with. “Being compassionate and kind towards fellow beings, helps in attracting similar kind of people around us.” Our family, faith, friends, financial status and a little bit of fun aid in keeping us healthy,” Nick Vujicic said.
Cultural programmes were presented on the occasion. Vice Chancellor PVGD Prasad Rao, Registrar M James Stephen, among others, spoke.
