Visakhapatnam: 53 tolas jewellery stolen from marriage hall

Visakhapatnam: Unidentified persons entered a marriage hall at a private resort and took away 53 tolas of gold jewellery in the wee hours of Thursday. According to the PM Palem police, a wedding party booked a resort on Wednesday evening for the ensuing marriage reception scheduled on Thursday at 11 am.

However, families of both bridegroom and bride realised that some of their bags were lost despite they remaining awake till 12 midnight. On Thursday, they came to know that their bags were lost at 3 am. One of the bags contained 53 tolas of gold jewellery belonging to the bride. A case was registered and investigation is on.
