Wheelchairs distributed to persons with disabilities at Amberpet municipal grounds

Amberpet: Corporators from different areas distributed wheelchairs to persons with disabilities (PwDs) on the occasion of International Day of Disabled Persons, at Amberpet municipal grounds on Tuesday. Amberpet division corporator Puli Jagan, Bagh Amberpet division corporator Padmavathi Reddy, Nallakunta division corporator Gariganti Sridevi and Kacheguda division corporator Ekkala Chaitanya participated in the programme.

They said, "Physically challenged people have become mentally strong after the formation of Telangana state. The KCR government has been giving out a pension of Rs 3,000 to the differently abled persons so that they could overcome their financial crisis."
