Varuna Yagam held at Mahankali temple

Secunderabad: Veda pundits of Sri Ujjaini Mahankali temple here on Monday performed 'Varuna Japasahita Rudrayaga Sathanuhaka Pattabhisheka Sahita Varuna Yagam' at the instance of Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav wishing that Telangana should have sufficient rain for the people to be happy with crops.

Among those who participated in the 'homam' and puja were corporator Athelli Srinivas Goud. Temple Executive Officer Annapurna was present.
