Habsiguda: Indian Youth Congress national coordinator Vinod Kumar expressed his anger at the unhygienic conditions at the anganwadi school, located at Gandhi Girjan Basti on 8th street in Habsiguda. The school place was allocated to Primary Health Centre (PHC) and the school has been temporarily shifted to Ravindra Nagar Community Hall.

The local Congress leaders, on the occasion of 48th birthday of their leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday, visited hospitals to distribute fruits and bread packets and anganwadi schools to distribute plates and glasses to children. As part of their programme, Congress visited the anganwadi school, but they were told that the school was shifted to Ravindra Nagar Community Hall temporarily.

They went to the community hall and were shocked to see that all the students were made to sit in the hall, while the food items and utensils were placed in bathrooms and toilets.

The Congress leaders expressed their anger at the unhygienic conditions. "They could have allotted a small place in the corner of the hall for cooking," a Congress leader said. The Congress leaders demanded the education department, corporator and local MLA to respond over the conditions at the school. The leaders cut the cake and distributed to the students. They also distributed plates and glasses to children.
