Trash being dumped beside slums

Begumpet: Tossing everyday items into the empty spaces can seem like second nature to many people. The waste is recycled and the rest ends up in landfills, incinerated or in ditches and roadsides.

K Sai, a resident, said "The people who walk through the path facing downward to the bridge throw wastes and alongside individuals from the railway station dump wastes which becomes unpleasant to the people beside." A Pooja, a pedestrian, said "Individuals dump wastes where there is an empty plot, which indirectly affects the people staying in slums. Also gives an unpleasant view."
