TEDx talks at IIT-H conclude

Hyderabad: "TEDxIIT Hyderabad event "Visions of Time" being held at IIT campus, Kandi concluded onSunday. IIT Hyderabad had organised an independent TEDx event in Hyderabad known as TEDxIIT Hyderabad on Sunday.

TED is an annual event that brings together the world's leading thinkers and doers to share ideas that matter in any discipline — technology, entertainment, design, science, humanities, business, development. The talks at the conference, called TED Talks, are then made available to watch for free on TED.com. In the spirit of "ideas worth spreading," TED has created TEDx, a program of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

The speakers included Amala Akkineni, Blue Cross Society of Hyderabad who discussed about how to look at various problems. Ravi Narayan, CEO-T Hub gave an excellent talk by projecting Indi scriptures and how ideas can be applied by startups. Hanif Qureshi, Artist, Co-founder of St+art India, Ritwik Mishra, L&D Organisational Development Expert spoke about journey of learning which transforms generations, Sophia David, Inclusion, Diversity & Human rights advocate spoke of identity & role of society in deciding identities towards more inclusiveness, Asif Qureshi, Researcher & Associate professor, Department of Civil Engineering discussed about the dynamic force for vibrant and what extent one could go for it.
