Swachh drive held for slum-dwellers

Malkajgiri: A slum level federation (SFL) meeting for Malkajgiri circle was held at a colony community hall in Ambedkar Nagar of Vinayak Nagar division here on Wednesday. Vinayak Nagar division corporator Pushpalatha Parushuram Reddy headed the meeting while GHMC Deputy Commissioner Venugopal participated in the meeting as chief guest.

During the meeting, GHMC officials explained them about the various initiatives taken up by GHMC such as 'Swachh Hyderabad', 'Safe Hyderabad-Shandar Hyderabad', 'Sarvekshan-2020' and others.

Various measures taken up in the fields of healthcare, education, malaria prevention, Anganwadi and others were also explained to the volunteers and locals during the program. GHMC officials of various departments of Malkajgiri circle participated in the meeting.
