Shantaram Memorial Lecture delivered

Rajendranagar: The Indian Society of Soil Science (ISSS), Hyderabad Chapter and Department of Soil Science & Agriculture Chemistry of Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) jointly organised the 6th Dr MV Shantaram Memorial lecture here on Wednesday at the virtual classroom in college premises.

Dr V Praveen Rao, Vice-Chancellor PJTSAU attended as chief guest and spoke on this occasion. Dr K Sammi Reddy, Head, Division of Resource Management, Central Research Institute for Dry land Agriculture (CRIDA) of ICAR delivered the memorial lecture on 'Emerging Strategies for Enhancing Nutrient Use Efficiency under changing climate'.

The President of ISSS Hyderabad Chapter, Dr K Jeevan Rao, ISSS Hyderabad Chapter Secretary Dr Harish Kumar Sharma and several faculty members and large number of students attended the lecture.
