Sewerage line works launched

Secunderabad: Sewerage works were taken up at Palika Bazar of Monda Market division at an estimated cost of Rs 28 lakh. They were inaugurated by Minister for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that the state government had been trying to find permanent solutions to sewerage, drainage and drinking water issues in the city and accordingly took up laying of new pipelines and repairs to address the issues.

Among those who attended the programme were corporator Akula Rupa, water works GM Rajashekhar Reddy, AE Pranathi, town planning ACP Khuddus, Electrical AE Mahesh, DGM Sunil and others.
