Protection sought for OU lands

Osmania University: Nava Telangana Vidhyarthi Parshad (NTVP) submitted a memorandum to Vice Chancellor Prof Krishna Rao on Thursday, seeking protection of the university lands.

They opposed management allotting five-acre land to build OU Engineering Alumni block by saying that one alumni building would be sufficient for all the former students of the university. They also opposed donating OU lands to the people in the vicinity in the name of Momin Cheruvu beautification.

NTVP state president Vinod Kumar, Ravi, Krishna, Pranay, Anji, Praveen and others were present on the occasion.
