Poor roads adding to people's travails

Jeedimetla: Residents of Bapu Nagar near Jeedimetla are facing lot of hardships while travelling on the road, as the road was not properly laid. Speaking to The Hans India here on Tuesday, Umesh, a commuter, said that the poor condition of the road in this area is creating a lot of panic among the citizens.

He said that the officials concerned were very indifferent. As there are no checks and repairs, the road is becoming worse day by day, he added. Umesh said that though several complaints were made about this to the municipality, no steps were initiated till now.
