Poor condition of road rankles residents

Neredmet: The condition of the internal roads in Kakatiya Nagar of Neredmet gets worse even after a little rainfall. The drainage water overflows every alternate day worsening the condition of the roads even worse.

Due to the slippery roads in the area there have been several incidents. D Kavya, a local said, "It makes no difference if it rains or not. The condition of the road remains similar because of the overflow of drainage.

This causes inconvenience for us to walk on the roads. The complete road gets filled up with the drainage water. The water remains stagnant on the roads causing unpleasant smell in the area."
