Pipe-laying works left unfinished

Nallagandla: The damaged road in Lakshmi Vihar, Phase 1 in Nallagandla remains unattended by the sanitation workers posing danger to school going children and elderly. After completion of laying of pipelines, the road levelling works have been left unfinished.

The parents of schoolchildren also expressed concern over the problems being faced by their wards while going to nearby schools. Rajshekhar R, a local said, "the rainwater is causing water stagnation on the stretch, making commuters as well as pedestrian trip and fall.

Some of the students on the way to school also fell due to the dug-up road. We hope that the authorities repair the road as soon as possible. There is also a lot of mosquito menace in the area."
