Muta Gopal acting unilaterally, flay cadres
Musheerabad: Senior TRS leader Thummala Praful Ram Reddy appealed to Muta Gopal, the Musheerabad MLA, to consult party cadre before taking any decision and stop taking unilateral decisions. He was speaking at a meeting of TRS active members organised by him at VST Function Hall, Baghlignampally, on Sunday.
In his address to the local party cadre, Praful Ram Reddy alleged that the MLA has appointed ineligible persons to the posts of president and secretary of the party booth and division committees in Kavadiguda, Gandhinagar and Ramnagar divisions of Musheerabad constituency without consulting the local party workers.
He demanded disbanding of newly formed committees and form new committees with fresh elections. He expressed concern that the committees formed by the unilateral decisions of the MLA without consulting the local cadre may result in group politics within the party.
This may cause immense damage to the party in view of forthcoming GHMC elections, he said. Later, a resolution was formed opposing the unilateral decisions of MLA. Praful Ram Reddy said that the resolution would be sent to CM KCR, the party working president KT Rama Rao, city minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and former home minister Naini Narsimha Reddy.
Among those who attended the meeting include TRS senior leader Padmaja, Netha Srinivas, K Gopi, Akula Sreenu, Bikshapathi Yadav, Sanjeev, Praveen, Anand, Satish, Wesley, P Sathyanarayana and others.
