MLA Kaleru Venkatesh joins Ayyappa Palki Yatra at Bagh Amberpet

Amberpet: Ayyappa Palki Yatra was taken out at Bagh Amberpet with religious fervor on Sunday. Amberpet MLA Kaleru Venkatesh participated in the palki yatra and shouldered the Ayyappa Palki. Palki Yatra, organised by Ayyappa devotee Shekhar Reddy Guruswamy, started from Ayyappa temple at Amberpet and was taken through DD Colony, Ahobilam Math and returned to the temple.

Speaking on the occasion, Shekhar Reddy said that it was a great opportunity to the devotees of Ayyappa to take the 'darshan' of the deity. He said that large number of Ayyappa devotees had participated in the Palki yatra. Women devotees played 'Kolotam' before the palki throughout the yatra, he said. He expressed his happiness as the Shobha Yatra was completed on a grant note.

Disciples of Shekar Reddy Guruswamy Rohit Swamy, Sagar Swamy, Balakrishna Swamy, Manche Sagar Swamy, Upendra Swamy, Mahesh Swamy, Bose, Santosh, Shekar and others participated in 'PalkiSeva.'
