MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy, J D Lakshminarayana ask students to imbibe moral values

BHEL: Former students, teachers and local residents participated in the 40th anniversary of Jyoti Vidyalaya School in the BHEL township, with former IPS officer J D Lakshminarayana and MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy attending as the chief guests.

Addressing the gathering, they advised students to maintain discipline while inculcating moral values, which would help them reach pinnacles of life. They noted with happiness that there were many success stories in the school's history. Many former students were occupying top posts, besides excelling in sports at the national and international level.

They pointed out that if teachers instilled values in students from early stages, along with good education, there were good chances of them reaching the top spots in life. They expressed happiness over the old teachers getting felicitated on the occasion.

Following a request by a former student, the MLA promised to arrange a bus for the school. Among those present were Corporator Thonta Anjayya Yadav, Sindhu Adarsh Reddy, BHEL Executive Director Uday Kumar, BHEL union president Rahman, school founder Lucy. Principal Umamaheswari and former students Athiya Sultana, Vasu, Arava Ramakrishna and Satish organised the programme.
