Legal Services Day held at govt schools

Charminar: On the eve of the National Legal Services day, the City Civil Court Legal Services Authority, Hyderabad, organised awareness programmes at the government high schools at Moghalpura and Fateh Darwaza.

The City Civil Judge and Secretary of DLSA (District Legal Services Authority), Azhar Hussain, and Mubashir Shareef, Paralegal, TS Legal Services Authority, addressed the gathering at the schools.

They explained various schemes under NALSA (National Legal Services Authority of India), especially for child rights, importance of education and child protection schemes and provision of basic knowledge and free legal aid extended by the state and the district legal services authorities. Later, they distributed certificates and prizes to children who excelled in essay-writing competitions held in both the schools.
