Investiture ceremony held at Army Public School Bolaram

Bolarum: Army Public School (APS) Bolarum organised investiture ceremony by appointing new members of the School Cabinet and the Student Council for the year 2019-20.

The event was presided over by Brigadier Sandeep Bhalla, Commandant, 1 EME Centre and Chairman, APS Bolarum complimented the achievers reminding them of the obligations that accompanied the authority vested in them. He also advised them to make good use of the opportunity to better themselves and uphold the trust vested in them by their mentors.

The Principal, Smitha Govind, in her welcome address congratulated both the appointees and their parents heartily and expressed hope that the children would live up to the expectations of the school and discharge their duties with diligence.

The grounds of APS Bolarum reverberated with the marching footsteps of contingents led by the Captains Angad Singh Gandhi and Anhaita Zahl. They consisted of the newly appointed Student Cabinet and the Student Council along with members of the four houses and NCC Battalions.

With stars on their shoulders and their sights set on stars and beyond the proud achievers marched towards the saluting base to take an oath to perform their duties with dedication.
