Hyderabad: After 8 months, the gruelling wait is over. Movies screening began at some theatres with more than one screen. Single-screen theatres that dot nook and corners of the city will open on Friday. The movie "Murder" welcomed audiences some theatres on Thursday. For weekend and new year ahead, movie releases are being lined up to draw audiences in big numbers in the city. Interestingly, 60% of bookings are already made online by movie lovers.

The much-awaited movie, 'Solo Brathuke So Better' movie starring Sai Dharam Tej is hitting theatres on Friday. With the opening of single-screen theatres.

A single theatre owner from Hyderabad expressing his pleasure and happiness to throw the theatre open for the audience said, "Now, It's real, we have been waiting for this day and it is official today."

A beaming Narasimha Reddy, owner of Sri Ramana Theater in Amberpet, said, "Finally, we opened theatres after a long time, Murder movie hit theatres on Thursday and we are also playing 'Solo Brathuke So better' in our single screens from Friday and it's a good start for the single screen theatres."

Speaking on Covid safety measures, he said, "We are following all the Covid-19 norms such as sanitising the theatres after every show, monitoring the temperature of all the audience, ensuring physical distancing while seating, not allowing the audience without a mask, and allowing only 50% audience strength to watch the movie and others are on cards."

Nani's movie "V" is being screened from next week. RED, Krack and others are also waiting to regale the viewers shortly.

♦    Undergo temperature checkup done before entering the theatre and sanitise your hands

♦    Carrying sanitiser is a suggestion and wearing a face mask is a must

♦    Maintain physical distancing while seating and also during the interval

♦    Purchase only packed food in the theatres

♦    Theatres requesting audience to book tickets online to avoid physical contact
