Haj Committee releases waiting list of aspirants

Hyderabad: Haj Committee of India (HCI) on Tuesday released the waiting list of Haj-2019. A total of 2,426 Haj seats are available due to cancellations received from various States, out of which 284 are allotted for Telangana.

A statement showing cancellations received from the respective States and the wait-listed pilgrims for Haj-2019, who are now provisionally selected in terms of Guidelines for Haj-2019 annexed.

According to Maqsood Ahmed Khan, the Chief Executive Officer of Haj Committee of India, the provisionally selected pilgrims from waiting list are required to deposit full Haj amount of Azizya category of accommodation and embarkation point. In any case an amount of Rs 2,01,000 each to be paid for confirmation of seat till June 7.

Payments can be made either Online at http://hajcommittee.gov.in or In Haj Committee of India account no. 32175020010 FEE TYPE-25 maintained with SBI, or account no. 318702010406009 Haj Account maintained with UBI through any branch of SBI/UBI having core Banking System, and can also by cheque of any branch of SBI/UBl in favor of the respective Bank.

These provisionally selected pilgrims were advised that after depositing the amount, original valid machine readable International Passport with one colour photograph attached to the back of passport with adhesive tape, pay-in-slip of the deposited amount along with medical screening and fitness certificate should be submitted to their respective State Haj Committee on or before June 7.

The State Haj Committees shall submit the valid machine-readable international passports after uploading all documents along with pay-in-slip/medical screening and fitness certificate to Haj Committee of India on or before June 12, the officials stated.

The details of total 2426 waiting list under provisional selection status for Haj-2019 are, Chhattisgarh Vacant seats-9 (124 to 131: cover number), Telangana-284 (1171 to 1455), Delhi (NCT)-64 (532 -596), Gujarat-230 (1382 to 1610), Haryana-40 (385 to 425), Jammu & Kashmir-354 (2034 to 2386), Karnataka-242 (2057 to 2298), Kerala-207 (2403 to 2609), Madhya Pradesh-92 (1069 to 1160), Maharashtra- 590 (3105 to 3695), Rajasthan-134 (1337 to 1471), Tamil Nadu-143 (1123 to 1264), Uttarakhand-37 (317 to 353).
