Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan unveils digital dome at Birla Centre

Hyderabad: Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundarajan inaugurated the digital full dome facility at the Birla Science Centre in Adarsh Nagar on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said, "I am fortunate to be here at the launch of the full dome digital astronomical facility. I thank all our space scientists, as the mission itself is creating excitement among people."

The first space show at the facility was on Chandrayaan-2. A replica of the satellite of Chandrayaan-2 was also kept in the middle of the dome as a tribute to the mission. It also shows the events of the cosmos using digital facility.

Remembering former President APJ Abdul Kalam, Soundarajan said that when Abdul Kalam was involved in one of the spacecraft missions and when the spacecraft was launched, without conveying any message, the people of our country chanted the slogan, 'Vande Mataram,' with overflowing patriotism.
