GHMC fails to clear garbage for weeks

Rasoolpura: The road towards Rasoolpura from Patny Nagar has been in news several times over its overflowing garbage and the area turned as a dump yard. Locals allege that garbage has not been cleared for weeks.

Apart from foul smell in the air, light-weight garbage keeps flying, falling on passers-by. "I have to walk through this street only to reach my office and there is no other way. It's truly the negligence of GHMC workers to have caused this ugly state of affairs.

They ignore inner streets. There are many chances of health issues if we breathe the odour around this area. GHMC must heed people's grievances and clean up this area before the situation goes out of hand," said Ashwini, an employee of Kotak Bank.
