Forum to train youth in IT skills in Old City
Hussaini Alam: Emphasising the need to stimulate a sense of skill development among the young minds of Old City, a brainstorming session was held by well-informed denizens. They came forward to form an alliance to ensure youngsters are trained in IT and Artificial Intelligence (AI) by forming a Forum for Passion to Empower at its office in Hussaini Alam on Wednesday.
Eminent personalities including educationists, those well- versed in IT domain and some religious luminaries, came together to discuss the necessity of skill development. Speakers underscored the need for skill development and support centres at different localities to prepare youth to grab opportunities present in different fields.
"Opportunities are up for grab in abundance in field of IT (Information Technology) and AI (Artificial Intelligence) and the need of the hour is to empower youth with relevant skills for a better future. The evolving trends always demand something that suits the future with sustainable employment and enriched inquisitiveness," said M A Najeeb, who is leading the Forum.
Najeeb, who is affiliated to Universal Peace Federation International, stressed on bringing awareness and instilling confidence among youth in primary stage to adopt skills that are much in demand.
While others felt that pioneering youngsters in adopting skills highly in demand and to knock the right door has gained prominence in the present scenario. "We have to think ways to establish support centres that provide proper guidance in the field of IT and AI," said Mohammed Imaam Tahseen, a renowned social activist.
"We could organise short duration training programmes to teach IT related courses to the students in schools," proposed National Director National Consumer Safety Council (NCSC) Mohammed Zubair Khan,
Finally it was decided to hold skill development training programmes at proposed primary schools to train young students. Professionals from different walks of life notably Dr Syed Abdul Razzak Sharfi, chairman, Shah Sharfi Fundation, Hyderabad, CEO Dicans (Robotics) Mohammed Naveed, Mohammed Waseem Khan and Mustafa Mahmood also spoke on the occasion.
