Filthy hurdle obstructs traffic flow at Kondapur

Kondapur: Overflowing drain on main road of Kothagudem in Kondapur is causing immense difficulties for commuters. Though numerous complaints made to officials, no action was taken by any officials.

The situation is witnessed every alternate day, says the owner of a hotel in the area. Pedestrians and commuters complain about the dirty water spilling on them as the vehicles pass by.

The situation is getting worse and the students are unable to cross the road as the dirty water stagnation blocks the path. It is also leading to traffic congestion as the slope of the road is very low.

"Overflowing drain is the major issue which we complain every time. This complaint is not addressed for years. But there is no action has been taken. We are truly disappointed by the official apathy," said Swathi, a resident of Kothagudem.
