Dug-up roads not restored, say locals

Hydernagar: The road in Hyder Nagar has been dug up by GHMC for laying new roads. The road was dug up around 8 months ago and still now there is no progress on relaying the road. This is causing a lot of inconvenience for the residents, commuters and motorists. The motorists or passer-by need to take other long routes to travel.

Chaitanya R, a resident of the area, said, "The only thing that was done by the officials was to dig the road and then leave it filled with stones. Half of the road is covered with stones and the other half of the road is muddy. This is however causing a lot of trouble to our vehicles."
