Drainage overflowing for over two months

Yousufguda: The residents of Sri Krishna Nagar, Yousufguda have been facing inconvenience of overflowing of drainage for over two months. The overflowing of the sewage water in the area spreads up to the road and it is difficult for the commuters and the locals walk in the area.

Though there have been several representations to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials cornered, no one has tuned up to resolve the problem and no concrete step had been taken till date.

Kalyani, a resident of Sri Krishna Nagar, said that she had requested the municipality to repair the drainage line and overflow of the sewage water, but no action was taken. She also said that due to sewage overflow propagation of mosquitoes had increased which became a health-concerned over there. The locals requested the municipality officials to clear the sewage water as soon as possible.
