Drainage overflow irks people

Mallapur: Overflow of drainage water has become a common sight for the residents of Mallapur. The drainage water has been overflowing for the past 9 months. This causes inconvenience for the residents to walk on the roads.

The complete road gets filled up with the drainage water. Sakshi M, a local said, "The water remains stagnant on the roads and causes inconvenience for the commuters and motorists. Children in the area feel uncomfortable to go out and play because of the unpleasant smell of the drainage and mosquitoes all over the area."
