Devotees throng Haribowli temple with Bonams

Shalibanda: Around 600 women devotees participated in Ashada Maasa Samuhika Kumkum Archana organised at Akkanna Madanna Prayer Hall at Sri Akkanna Madanna Mahankali Mandir in Haribowli, Shalibanda, in the Old City on Friday.

According to temple committee, this is the 2nd week of Samuhika Kumkum Archana by women devotees. Every year, temple committee organises five weeks of Samhika Kumkum Archana puja during Bonalu festival, in which women participate in large numbers.

New committee for Bonalu fest

For the upcoming 71st annual Bonalu festival, Sri Akkanna Madanna Mahankali Mandir constituted a new committee of office bearers. The members who were present at the meeting decided the new office bearers.
