Clogged open drain keeps locals on edge

Kowkoor: The locals of Alwal are facing a lot of inconvenience because of the open drainage. It has been more than two months that the locals have been facing the issue.

"The nala is dumped with plastic and due that it has become a breeding ground for mosquitoes over here", said B Prahald, local. "We have complained about this perennial problem to the GHMC officials and also requested to clean the nala but no action has been taken till date," another resident of the area said.
