CCTV surveillance set up in APR Colony
Patancheru: Local MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy on Sunday inaugurated CCTV cameras in APR Colony, which is part of this largest constituency from security point of view, along with DSP Rajeswara Rao.
Addressing the gathering, Reddy said the CCTV cameras would ensure security to the residents. He described Patancheru as 'mini-India,' as people from all States live there. Reddy stated that development would take place only with maintenance of law and order.
The legislator assured the constituents that there is no threat to their security, education of their children and jobs. Reddy announced that a corporate school would be established soon near the colony. Also, KIMS hospital was being set up in the Patelguda area of the constituency.
He pointed out that the residents had in the past suffered on account of pollution. But after the TRS was voted to power in the State the government had taken special steps to contain pollution. Consequently, pollution levels were falling and pollution-free establishments, including software firms, were being set up, Reddy said. These units were providing employment to youth.
