Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has demanded the Telangana BJP MPs to release a white paper on their contribution to the State from the Centre.

Speaking at a press conference here on Sunday, Government Whips Gongidi Sunitha and Guvvala Balaraju said that despite the BJP government at the Centre that has been in power for the last nine years, the Telangana BJP leaders had failed to bring funds to the State and they were doing nothing except criticising the BRS government.

Condemning the remarks of Union Minister G Kishan Reddy who said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's absence from NITI Aayog meeting is a big loss for Telangana, BRS MLA Gongidi Sunitha reminded that the Chief Ministers from 10 States stayed away from the NITI Aayog meeting and many Chief Ministers felt that there is no use of attending the meeting when the Centre is openly making fun of cooperative federalism.

She alleged that the Telangana BJP leaders didn't have basic knowledge on the financial status of Telangana State and they were levelling baseless remarks against the BRS government without having a valid point.

Another MLA Guvvala Balaraju found fault with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not considering the demand of naming the new Parliament building after Dr BR Ambedkar, who is considered the architect of Indian Constitution and alleged that the Prime Minister was using the inauguration of new Parliament building for his self-glorification.
