Brahma Kumaris retreat camp wows children
Srinagar Colony: Brahma Kumaris conducted a camp for children here on Sunday. Brahma Kumaris conduct a camp for children every Sunday. Anyone in the age group of 9 to 14 years can participate in it. The Bala Vikas branch of Brahma Kumaris conducted an inner and outer personality development programme for children from 10 am to 12 noon at Krishna Nagar in Yousufguda on the day. The children were given lessons on Lord Ganesha which was followed by a painting session.
"Every Sunday, we have Children's Retreat for overall development of Children, specially focusing on the personality development and building memory power through meditation, which enhances inner skills and values through play, learn & grow approach. Many children love to learn things and get educated about behavior management here with us," said Sister Radha, the caretaker of Balavikas, Srinagar Colony.
Children achieve life skills, value explorations, concentrations, communication skills, confidence, mind power and emotional balance at the end of the programme. Topics related to self-empowerment, meditation, values and life-managing skills are provided by expert resource persons from India and overseas. Also, there are several creative and festive events which are integrated with Sunday evening talk programmes, from time to time.
