Bonalu jatara to be organised on grand scale: Padma Rao

Chilkalguda: Deputy Speaker T Padma Rao Goud on Wednesday assured the representatives of local Katta Maisamma Temple that the State government was making all arrangements to organising the 'Ashada Bonalu Jatara' on a grand scale.

He was responding to a plea by the representatives who met him at his camp office in Namalagundu. Local Corporarator Samala Hema, EO Krishna, among others, were present.

Goud wanted the celebrations in the temple to be organised on a grand scale, while taking care that no inconvenience is caused to devotees, with all concerned departments taking up coordinated efforts. He said soon a meeting on the arrangements for the Bonalu celebrations would be convened.
