BJP distributes dengue medicine to students

Serilinganpally: State BJP executive committee member Jnanendra Prasad on Friday distributed medicine to students to prevent dengue fever in Hafeezpet, Hydernagar and other areas of Serilingampally constituency as part of the 'Seva Saptah' being observed in connection with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. He was accompanied by constituency party convener Buchhi Reddy.

Addressing the gatherings, Prasad advised people to be on the guard against getting afflicted with dengue which was caused by a mosquito bite. Hence, he said, everyone should ensure that their surroundings are kept clean and green. The BJP leader stated that the symptoms of dengue like fever, vomiting, loose motions, headache would persist for over 14 days leading to severe sickness.

He advised youth organisations, officials, political leaders, local organisations and residents to undertake a pledge to make sure that colonies are clean and green and free of garbage. Among those present were BJP leaders Ravi Goud, Varaprasad, M K Dev, Pavan, Lakshman, BJYM activists Jithender, Anil, Prasad, Ramakrishna.
