Bathukamma fete a boon to handloom weavers

Serilingampally: Hafizpet corporator V Pujita Jagdishwar Goud on Wednesday said the 'Bathukamma' sarees being distributed in connection with the festival would also benefit handloom workers across the State, as they were involved in their preparation.

She was speaking after distributing the 'Bathukamma' sarees to women at Gangaram community hall and at Hafizpet government school in the presence of ward members K Venkatesh Goud, Ravi Kumar, Pasha, Praveen and Chinna.
