Architecture has bright future, says CoA chief
Baghlingampalli: President of the Council of Architecture (CoA) A R Vijay Garg said that a bright future awaits the students of Architecture as there were many opportunities in the country as well as abroad in this field.
He was speaking at the conference, 'Architectural Profession – Changing Paradigms,' organized by JBR Architecture College at TSRTC Kala Bhavan here on Wednesday.
Addressing the gathering, Vijaya Garg said that more and more students were showing interest in architecture as professional architects were in great demand these days.
He went on to explain how the design and architecture could impact various aspects such as human ecology, history, arts, science, law and other technical aspects. He said that innovative designs created by architects would enable further development of cities. Architects were playing a key role in the field of construction, he added.
Several professors, who spoke at the conference, explained the importance of architecture and the emerging trends in the field. Prominent architects were felicitated on the occasion. Director of JBR Architecture College Gayatri, Principal Pasha, professors from various architecture colleges and final year students of the college participated in the conference.
