AIYF, AISF extend support to RTC strike

ECIL: Medchal district president of AIYF T Sathya Prasad condemned government apathy towards RTC employees who have been on strike for the past two weeks for their just demands. He was speaking at AIYF-AISF meeting held here at Neelam Rajashekhar Reddy Bhavan on Wednesday.

Speaking at the meeting, Sathya Prasad condemned the state government's indifferent response towards striking RTC employees. He alleged that state government had tried to create wedge between TNGOs and RTC workers to foil the strike but their efforts have gone futile as employees remained united.

Criticizing the government's decision to extend Dasara vacations for schools and colleges, he said that the government was afraid that students and youth would fight along with RTC employees.

He demanded the government to appoint RTC MD immediately and call the RTC employees for discussions to resolve the strike, as ordered by the state High Court.AISF district leaders Vishal, Mahesh, Rami Reddy, Harish, Aravind, AIYF leaders Dharmendra, Maheshwari, Mounika, Shravan, Gautham, Suresh, Manisha and others participated in the meeting.
