ABVP flays govt over fee hike in corporate colleges

Vikarabad: The ABVP wing of the town criticised that the state government has failed in containing the profit motive business of the private and corporate education. The ABVP organised bandh across the state protesting the hike in fees by the corporate colleges.
Speaking on the occasion, the district convener of ABVP P Mahesh said the state government did not bother about the fee hike in corporate colleges. He demanded to fill up the vacancies of MEO and DEOs.
He also demanded the state government to take action on the colleges to roll back the hiked fees. A fee regulation act should be enacted, he insisted. Executive members of the union Srisailam, Naveen, Ganesh, Surender and others were present.
